Overview

File upload is the simplest way to add documents to your AI. Upload files from your computer and they’re immediately queued for processing — no external accounts or OAuth required.

How to Upload Files

1

Go to Data Connections

Navigate to Workspace > Data Connections and select your file upload connection (or create one if none exists).
2

Open the Documents Tab

Switch to the Documents tab and click Add Docs.
3

Select and Configure Files

Choose files from your computer. For each file, optionally configure:
  • Namespace — Organizational grouping
  • Permission Level — Who can access this document
  • Tags — Custom key-value metadata
  • Processing Options — Image processing, table extraction
4

Upload and Monitor

Click Submit to start uploading. The progress tracker shows per-file and overall progress. Documents appear in the list as they’re processed.
